If it is your first time, or even if you are a recurring Maldives visitor, you may be interested to find out what is the best way to book with the best rates.

So, before telling you where to book, let's see where...NOT to book!

Where you should NOT book

Here are the 2 options where you should not book for your trip to the Maldives if you want to get the best rates.

1) The big booking platforms

As convenient as they may be, booking platforms like Booking.com or Expedia are always the worse to book your trip to the Maldives.

They take advantage of their position on the market and their name as well as their user-friendliness to make you pay way more than you should.

Prices on these platforms also often miss some key expenses that would come later on as a surprise. We're thinking for instance of the speedboat or seaplane transfers, that are not included in 90% of the prices that you would find on such websites.
